Kathryn Fay Flinn died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at her home in Cedaredge. She was 77.
A gathering of friends will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Cedaredge Civic Center, 140 NW 2nd Street.
Kathryn Fay Collins was born in Fruita March 5, 1939, to Walter and Cora (Robertson) Collins. She spent her childhood and attended school in Fruita, graduating from Fruita High School in 1957.
On Feb. 14, 1992, she married John Flynn in Cedaredge.
She enjoyed hunting arrowheads and rocks, hiking and riding horses.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, John Flynn of Cedaredge; a son, Kenneth Copple of New Orleans, La.; a daughter, Susan Carlson of Washington; a twin brother, Kenneth Collins of New Castle; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
