Higher sales prices and fewer days on the market are clear indicators the real estate market in Delta County is rebounding. Statistics provided by the Delta County Board of Realtors illustrate that the housing market made a huge turnaround in 2017.
Three properties owned by the Town of Paonia that went on the market this fall didn't take long to go under contract. Each of the three parcels have what many buyers are looking for in the North Fork area -- small parcels with a house, and small acreages, preferably with good water rights.
According to a report compiled by Heritage Title Company, real estate transactions jumped 40 percent in the third quarter of 2015 in Delta County. There were 262 sales compared to 187 for the same period of 2014.
