Delta's second annual "Kickoff to Christmas" takes place Saturday, Nov. 25. This event is sponsored by the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce and First Colorado National Bank.
This year's Fairview School reunion was bittersweet. The June 24 reunion marked the 26th consecutive year that Fairview School attendees met at Gunnison River Pleasure Park to reminisce and share a meal through the generosity of former student Ray Drysdale, now of Yuma, Ariz.
During Cherry Days in Paonia, PHS Class of 1957 celebrated its 60th reunion. The agenda included a pulled pork supper July 3 at Claudia King's, enjoying the community pancake breakfast, riding in the parade and picnicking in the Paonia Park at the Fourth of July celebration.

Fairview School's annual reunion was held on June 27 at Gunnison River Pleasure Park. The school is no longer in existence though many of the former students, whether they attended for a short time or for grades one through eight, look forward to this yearly get-together to renew friendships and recall those early days at the school.
