Citizens for a Healthy Community, a Paonia based local nonprofit organization that works to protect the health of the community from oil and gas development, is joining forces with the Kids Pasta Project to hold its third annual pasta dinner and silent auction at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Delicious Orchards.
Friends and supporters of CHC will gather for a delightful evening of good, healthy food served by adorable well trained KPP kid volunteers, beverages from the Delicious bar and the chance to browse the silent auction tables. The dozens of silent auction items include many items generously donated by local merchants, vintners and friends of CHC. Auction items can be viewed and bids made on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25, at the CHC booth at the Mountain Harvest Festival at Paonia Town Park.
All proceeds benefit CHC's efforts.
Dinner reservations are required. Call 985-9220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
