The Kiwanis Club of Delta recently held its annual officer installation banquet at Devil's Thumb Golf Course restaurant. Hayley Suppes, lieutenant governor of division 7, administered the installation ceremony for the club's 2015-2016 officers and directors.

In the past year, the Kiwanis sponsored community service projects such as Terrific/Virtuous Kids, kids' olympics, high school scholarships, Breakfast with Santa, DeltaFest, special needs kids' Christmas lunch with Santa, Delta preschool barbecue and Kiwanis Park, and made various donations to Key Club, Delta library, ARC, children's educational organizations and other youth groups. Club members worked approximately 800 man-hours in community service activities. Delta Kiwanis was chartered in October 1941 and is entering its 75th anniversary of continuous service to the youth and Delta community in general.
