From the Delta Police Department:
Edward L. Whitaker, 58, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $750 bond.
Robert K. Brown, 31, of Delta was arrested and jailed on three warrants with a total of $900 bond.
Orlando Virgil, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.
Charles E. Foley, 80, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $250 bond.
Daniel K. Teare, 32, of Crawford was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bond.
Matthew T. McDonald, 41, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged failed to maintain a single lane of travel (weaving), DUI and DUI per se.
Joshua D. Reed, 28, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged DUI.
Citations: Three tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, none for speeding.

Citizens reported that mailboxes on 2000 Road, Delta, had again been bashed sometime the previous night.
A burglary was reported in the 31000 block of Highway 92. The owner reported an air compressor, Thomas the train collectible train set and a crockpot had been taken from a shed. The air compressor had a round tank and homemade welded handle.
The theft of tools and welding equipment was reported from a shop on Back River Road, Paonia.
A Montrose man reported the license plate from his company-owned truck was missing after he drove through a cattle drive.
A break-in was reported at a shop on Moss Rock Road, Hotchkiss. Missing items included drills, screw guns, a Hitachi compressor, propane heater, pre-hung door and fishing and camping equipment. Total value is estimated at $2,000 to $3,000. The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Dec. 15 and the morning of Dec. 16.
A single-car accident was reported on Back River Road at about 5 p.m. A black Ford SUV driven by Ashley Lovato, 18, of Crawford went off the side of the road. The vehicle sustained severe front end damage; the driver was not injured. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
The theft of two propane tanks was reported from a business on Back River Road outside of Paonia.
A Hotchkiss woman reported a bottle of prescription medication was missing just one day after the prescription had been refilled. The case is under investigation.
