From the Delta Police Department:

Dec. 7:

Veronica R. Munoz, 26, of Clifton was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,000 bond.

Summer M.S. Adcock, 21, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment.

licia M. Emmons, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.

Dec. 8:

Robert N. Pacheco, 66, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after being involved in a one-vehicle crash in the 1400 block of Highway 50 North. No injuries were reported or observed and the vehicle involved was driven from the scene.

Dec. 9:

David E. Hale Jr., 48, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged Limitations on backing after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported or observed. Neither vehicle required tow services.

Sonny A. Antrillo, 31, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total of $4,500 bond. He was also issued a ticket for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized possession of a controlled substance.

Dec. 10:

Missie N. Rundle, 30, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged limitations on backing after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in the 100 block of E. 4th Street. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Tessa A. Case, 29, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged harassment.

Dec. 11:

A 17-year-old female of Montrose was arrested on a warrant with a $300 bond and released to a parent.

Dec. 13:

Isaac J. Gallegos, 24, of Delta was arrested and jailed on two warrants with a total $3,000 bond.

Alycia L. Cok, 22, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged reckless driving and child abuse after being involved in a crash with a parked car in the 1700 block of H Road. No injuries were reported or observed. Neither vehicle required tow services.

Citations: 12 tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, five for speeding.

Please remember: All criminal charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.

Dec. 2

Details of a three-car accident on Highway 65 have been clarified. Michael Chavez was northbound on Highway 65 and had slowed to make a turn when his vehicle was rear-ended by John Wolverton. Virginia Warner was traveling southbound at the same time and did not actually strike either vehicle.

Dec. 8

A damaged vehicle was found abandoned at the intersection of Redlands Mesa Road and North Road. When contacted, the driver said he had hit a deer the night before. He was advised to file a report with the Colorado State Patrol.

Sheriff's deputies took a report of a civil problem regarding property lines on F25 Road. Both parties were advised the issue is civil in nature.

Kyle Alward, 24, was arrested on domestic violence charges after deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on Highway 65 in Eckert.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., dispatch was advised of 10 to 12 cows on the road in the vicinity of Ash Mesa Road and D25 Road. After investigation, the cows were moved to a secured area.

Dec. 9

Deputies responded to an address on D Road in Crawford in response to a domestic dispute. James J. Brasiel, 39, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree assault, criminal mischief and cruelty to animals.

The Colorado State Patrol requested assistance in locating Edgar Saenz, who was involved in a traffic accident on Highway 50 between Delta and Grand Junction.

Dec. 11

The theft of horses was reported from an address on Cactus Park Road.

The theft of an air compressor was reported from a rental home on Cedar Mesa Road.

At approximately 10:44 p.m., dispatch received a report of a barn fire at Smith Fork Ranch outside of Crawford. Upon arrival, the Crawford Fire Department found the barn fully engulfed and requested assistance from Hotchkiss Fire. The barn/shop was a total loss, estimated at $200,000. Investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a problem between a Crawford employer and his employee.

Dec. 12

Deputies received a report of a suspicious incident that resulted in a 98-year-old Paonia woman being transported to the hospital with minor injuries. It was later determined no criminal activity had taken place.

A Delta woman reported her dog had been killed by a neighbor's dog. The incident occurred on 2175 Road.

Shortly before 9 p.m., a single-car accident occurred on Highway 92 near Crawford Reservoir. A vehicle driven by Keith Kincade reportedly lost traction on a patch of ice. The vehicle slid backward off the highway and down an embankment. No blockage or injuries were witnessed.

An accident involving a vehicle and a deer occurred at the intersection of Highway 65 and Highway 92 shortly before midnight.

Dec. 13

A runaway juvenile was reported in Cedaredge.
