From the Delta Police Department:
Ronald L. Brenner, 77, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged exceeded safe speed for conditions after being involved in a one-vehicle crash in the 1700 block of G Road. No injuries were reported or observed. A tree, utility pole and a fence sustained damage. The vehicle was removed from the scene by another person.
Keith L. Kincaide, 33, of Crawford was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting and trespass.
Lacy M. Murray, 37, of Grand Junction was issued a ticket for alleged theft and driving a motor vehicle while license under suspension.
Eloy O. McLaughlin, 44, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged menacing, third degree assault, and two counts of violation of a protection order.
Stephanie L. Ellis, 33, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting.
A 17-year-old male of Delta was arrested and jailed at Grand Mesa Youth Services for alleged third degree assault and illegal possession of marijuana.
Mikel G. Sheets, 31, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 in front of City Market. No injuries were reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Adam A. Kasamis, 26, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged criminal mischief and violation of a protection order.
Christopher D. Guyer, 36, of Crawford was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.
Citations: 15 tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, 12 for speeding.
Please remember: All criminal charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.

Karan Haag of Delta was not injured when her pickup struck a deer shortly after 8 a.m. The deer was killed.
A Delta area woman reported the theft of a laser Christmas light from her home on 1740 Road.
At about 6 p.m., Andrea Hutson, 55, of Montrose and an unidentified passenger were involved in an accident on 1600 Road. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch; extrication was required from Delta firefighters. One female was transported to the hospital. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
Three vehicles were involved in a crash in the vicinity of 8037 Highway 65. John Wolverton was reportedly making a righthand turn when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Michael Chavez, 55, of Grants, N.M. His vehicle was then hit by Virginia Warner. Sheriff's deputies, Cedaredge Fire Department, Delta County Ambulance and the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene. No one required transportation to the hospital.
An 80-year-old Cedaredge woman reported someone broke into her home on Ward Creek Road and stole her prescription medications.
A Hotchkiss man reported the theft of two guns from an unlocked camper on J Road, a Marlin .22 long rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun.
Kasha Culver, 19, of Delta was involved in a single-car rollover on Hart's Basin Road near Eckert at about 11 a.m. She was transported to the hospital. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a minor accident at the Stop 'n Save in Paonia. Two vehicles were involved; there were no injuries.
The Montrose Police Department requested assistance with locating a stolen vehicle, believed to have been abandoned in the 'dobies. Sheriff's deputies could not locate the car at the address provided.
Lynette Taylor, 30, swerved to avoid a deer on Highway 133 near Paonia at about 8:30 p.m. She escaped injury, even though she lost control of her vehicle, and it flipped into a ditch. The Colorado State Patrol arrived on the scene to handle the investigation.
A Hotchkiss area woman reported a possible prowler outside her home after she heard a loud noise and her animals, inside and out, became agitated. Sheriff's deputies searched the area but were unable to locate any evidence of a prowler.
The sheriff's department reports the recovery of a Bobcat skid steer stolen from a Delta business last week. The skid steer had been dropped off at the Bobcat dealership in Grand Junction. Two suspects have been identified; charges are pending for the theft of the skid steer as well as a large boxed trailer with landscaping equipment which was previously recovered.
