From the Delta Police Department:
A juvenile female of Delta was issued a summons on charges of illegal possession or consumption by an underage person (marijuana).
A juvenile female of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bonds.
A juvenile male of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a no bond.
A juvenile female of Delta was issued a summons on charges of violation of a protection order.
Gerald P. McNeill, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant for parole violation.
Joshua R. Lujan, 22, of Delta was arrested and jailed on charges of domestic violence and harassment.
Robert B. Miller, 33, of Henderson, Nev., was arrested and jailed on charges of assault in the third degree and crimes against at-risk adult.
Cameron L. Sanders, 26, of Delta was arrested and jailed on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, theft and trespass.
Citations: Four tickets were issued this week for various traffic violations.

On Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. deputies responded to 13341 Highway 65 in reference to an assault. The 72-year-old victim reported that his neighbor, Robert Moore, had for no apparent reason other than he was highly intoxicated, threatened him with a hand gun, knife and attacked him with a shovel. He advised that he was able to wrestle the gun away from Moore and call 911. Deputies concluded their investigation and requested a warrant for Moore. He was subsequently arrested and charged with felony menacing, second degree assault, and crimes against an at-risk adult. He is being held in Delta County Jail pending posting of a $60,000 bond.
An Orchard City resident reported the theft of a 90-pound black safe from the bedroom of his home. Entry was likely gained through a window. The safe contained cash and miscellaneous papers and personal information.
Sheriff's investigators assisted the Montrose Police Department and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children with an investigation into pornography involving a minor.
At about 5 p.m., a 22-year-old driver lost control of his 2013 Chrysler on Trap Club Road near the landfill. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
A 17-year-old female from Paonia was stopped for speeding on Highway 133 near Hotchkiss. Deputies report a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. After failing roadside maneuvers, the female was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, speeding and illegal possession or consumption of marijuana by an underage person. Two occupants of the vehicle, a juvenile male and a juvenile female, were also charged with illegal possession or consumption of marijuana by an underage person. The driver was released to a parent.
A Delta area employer reported an employee was being harassed by a customer after she tried to collect money from him. Deputies felt there was not enough evidence to file charges, but the customer was given a verbal warning.
A 77-year-old Paonia woman reported her grandson had stolen personal checks from her home. She was contacted by her bank because her account is overdrawn.
An Orchard City resident found an abandoned vehicle near his home, plus evidence that a storage trailer on his property had been broken into. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Deputies assisted the Cedaredge Police Department and Cedaredge Fire Department with a single vehicle accident on Grand Mesa Drive at about 1 p.m.
A Hotchkiss woman reported that her 8-year-old daughter went walking with her dogs. The dogs returned home, but she did not. Deputies determined the reporting party was sick and confused; the 8-year-old was found to be safe and with a relative.
A trailer home at 3656 2195 Road, Delta, was damaged by fire at about 1 p.m. Deputies helped get owner's pets out of the home and moved a car away from the house while Delta firefighters extinguished the blaze. The origin of the fire is believed to be the fireplace.
Bed check revealed two young men had run away from Gateway Youth Services. They were entered as runaways in the NCIC/CCIC database.
At about 12:50 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the scene of an ATV accident involving a 62-year-old male on Cottonwood Creek Road near Crawford.
A garage at 40693 D Road, Crawford, was totally destroyed by fire shortly after midnight. The homeowner said the fire likely started in an old wood stove. Miscellaneous items were stored in the garage; value of the loss is not known.
