From the Delta Police Department:
Chelsy E. Forsberg, 39, of Delta was arrested and jailed on violation of a protection order.
Jared D. Lilly, 23, of Montrose was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.
Tora N. Boyle, 39, of Delta was arrested and jailed on warrants with $1,500 bond.
Derrick L. West, 22, of Delta was issued a summons on charges of resisting arrest.
Jose P. Cantu, 23, of Delta was arrested and jailed on charges of assault in the third degree/false reporting to authorities/false imprisonment/obstruction of telephone service.
Caleb T. Jones, 20, of Delta, was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $3,000 bond.
Hector A. Huerta, 26, of Delta was arrested and jailed on warrants with a bond of $1,200.
Joseph P. Miller, 25, of Delta was arrested and jailed on charges of violation of a protection order.
Two juveniles, of Delta were issued summons for possession/consumption of marijuana.
A juvenile from Delta was issued a summons for minor in possession of marijuana.
Mathew W. Mahan, 43, of Delta was arrested and jailed on warrants with $17,500 bonds.
Eddie P. Diaz, 30, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with $300 bond.
Jimmy D. Atwood, 61, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with $500 bond.
Tara L. Cox, 43, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a charge of assault in the third degree.
Citations: Three tickets were issued this week for various traffic violations.

From the Delta County Sheriff's Office (partial list):
Deputies responded to two separate animal control issues, one involving a dog bite to a landlord and the other a bite to a neighbor's dog.
Janet Griffith, 52, of Vernal, Utah, was involved in a single-car accident near the intersection of Trap Club Road and Doughspoon Road. Griffith was driving a black Toyota and pulling a trailer with an ATV. During the accident the trailer broke loose and rolled. The Colorado State Patrol is handling the investigation.
Sheriff's deputies assisted the Delta Police Department, 7th Judicial Drug Task Force and DEA in an attempt to contact an individual passing through Delta on Main Street at about 5:30 p.m. The suspect has warrants for possession of a weapon by a previous offender, possession of a controlled substance and eluding. He was also known to have ties to Michael Marin. The individual again eluded law enforcement when he picked up speed through the city and law enforcement backed off in the interest of public safety.
A Cedaredge area woman asked deputies to do a welfare check on her 9-year-old grandson after she received an anonymous text that she should get him out of his home.
An auto repair shop near Hotchkiss reported the theft of license plates from a vehicle.
At about 4:30 a.m., a Hotchkiss area woman reported her ex-husband was banging on the door of her home. She says he let himself into the house and appeared to be high. He claimed he just wanted to drop off a child support payment and left before deputies could arrive on the scene. The reporting party was advised to obtain a restraining order.
A 57-year-old male from the Cedaredge area fell to his death from a second story opening onto an outdoor patio. The death is considered accidental.
A suspected drunk driver was reported after a witness saw the man drive his pickup through a fence on F and 2000 Road, then continue traveling west on F Road at about 8 p.m. The Colorado State Patrol has taken over the investigation.
A break-in was reported at All Saints Lutheran Church in Austin. A caretaker spotted a broken window and several other windows where the screens had been removed. At first nothing appeared to be missing. It was later discovered some cash had been taken.
A one-vehicle rollover occurred about a mile north of the Adobe Buttes Landfill at about 11 a.m. When deputies arrived on the scene, a black Jeep Cherokee was lying on its top, blocking the roadway. An 18-year-old Cedaredge male was sitting in a nearby vehicle with his parents. An ambulance arrived on scene and determined the teen had suffered only bumps and bruises. The Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.
At about 10:30 p.m., a possible case of poaching was reported in the Cedaredge area. The suspect's vehicle is described as a white Ford dually pickup with an extended cab. Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating the incident.
