From the Delta Police Department:
Kayla J. Barrett, 22, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged following too closely after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 92 at Crawford Avenue. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Derrick L. West, 20, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged unlawful acts.
James A. Stockton, 20, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.
Errick L. West, 20, of Delta was arrested and jailed and a warrant with no bond.
Gregory A. Vanbeek, 46, of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., was arrested and jailed for alleged DUI and careless driving after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in the 600 block of Highway 50. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Shawn L. Willshire, 39, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged third degree assault.
Terrence Hayes, 52, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged failure to yield right of way after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Main Street at Eaton Avenue. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Michael W. Horn, 42, of Delta will be charged by a request for prosecution for alleged forgery.
Rebecca A. Reeder, 38, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting. A 16-year-old female of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting.
Citations: 11 tickets for traffic violations were issued this week, eight for speeding.

The theft of a truck bed tailgate extension was reported from a residence on Apple Lane in Cedaredge. The owner placed the value at $760.
A fire was reported at Snow Dogs, a restaurant just off Highway 133 outside of Paonia. A passing motorist called dispatch shortly after midnight. A complete story can be found on page B1.
A Crawford resident asked for a deputy's assistance with juveniles riding around town on their dirt bikes.
Deputies were asked to check the condition of a horse on Marshall's Road, Austin. They found an old horse near the end of its life and recommended the owner contact a veterinarian.
The theft of snowboards, snowboarding equipment and remote control helicopters was reported from an apartment complex on Highway 65, Eckert. The items, valued at about $1,500, were stored in a common laundry area. There was no sign of forcible entry.
A Paonia area resident reported a number of mature marijuana plants growing out in the open. The sheriff's office has responded to a number of similar calls with a "knock-and-talk," to educate the property owners about state laws governing marijuana grow operations.
At about 4:40 p.m., a single-car accident was reported at 4717 Highway 348. A vehicle containing the driver and two children rolled onto its side. There were no serious injuries. The Colorado State Patrol arrived to take over the investigation.
A few minutes later, a two-vehicle non-injury accident was reported on 3100 Road 12 miles north of Highway 92. John Lake, 44, of Hotchkiss was cited for careless driving.
Two pickups left in the Gunnison Gorge parking area on H75 Road were the targets of criminal mischief while their owners were riding their dirt bikes. The door of one pickup was scratched and a black bag containing dirt biking gear and clothing valued at $700 was stolen. On the second vehicle, two windows were broken out and the car seat was ripped. Damage was estimated at $1,500. The incident is under investigation.
