Join Susie Lowe on Saturday, April 16, for an afternoon of basic jewelry-making techniques. Work with real semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, and suede cord. Learn how to string and crimp beads; basic wire-wrapping skills to make rosary chain and hang pendants; color schemes and stone combining.

Sterling silver wire and findings, assorted gemstones, stringing materials and suede cord provided by instructor ($30 value). If possible, students should bring needle nose jewelry pliers, flat nose jewelry pliers, crimpers and wire cutters. Class is suitable for ages 12 and up.

The class runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts. To register, call 527-7243 or email info@bluesage.org.
