Letter highlights airport's value

By A.F. Schwedler

Dear Editor:

In response to the excellent researched letter by Clay McDonald in the April 6 issue of the DCI:

The problem is not indigenous to Colorado. It happens all over the USA. The root cause is almost always the same. It is caused by politicians (who in their own mind) think they know what is best for the citizens and how to spend taxpayer money.

It is obvious that in the case of the North Fork Airport, the problem is politicians not knowing the value of the airport to the community and general aviation.

The only cure is to be extremely careful who you vote for.
