Delta resident Lillian M. Shreeves died Monday, May 30, 2016, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. She was 86.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 3, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta with Pastor Will Pruett officiating. Interment followed at Mesa View Cemetery.
Mrs. Shreeves was born in Nebraska Feb. 23, 1930, to Harlan and Louisa (Baumfalk) White. She spent her childhood in Atwood, Kan.
She moved to Eckert in 1945 and to Sidney, Mont., from 1977 to 1989. She lived for many years in Escalante Canyon, eventually making her way to Delta.
On Jan. 9, 1951, she married Joseph Shreeves in Delta.
She was a member of Delta Christian Church and a 50-plus-year member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows' Rebekahs. She enjoyed crocheting, making dolls and working puzzle books.
Mrs. Shreeves is survived by a daughter, Alice Shreeves of Delta; her sons, Dennis Shreeves of Delta and Donald (Juli) Shreeves of Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Charles (Shirley) White of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary (Steve) Stephenson of Illinois and Jennie Styles of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Lillie Grayson; and five siblings, Wilbur, Walter, Louis, Donald and Shirley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Odd Fellows Scholarship Fund or to a charity of one's choice.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
