Lincoln Elementary School values parent involvement in the education of its students. FamilyFacts.org says, "Youths whose parents are highly involved in their education during elementary school are more likely to graduate from high school or complete high school requirements."
Your participation in school does matter...even if it is just eating donuts with your kid, talking about how cool their teacher is or their favorite subject in school. You're invited to Lincoln Elementary the first Wednesday of each month for "Donuts With Dudes." The first "Donuts With Dudes" will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in the cafeteria at 7:15 a.m. If you are a dad, grandpa, uncle, brother or friend of a Lincoln student please bring them and enjoy some donuts with your favorite Lincoln Lion!
Lincoln is also looking for companies or individuals who are willing to donate $100 to sponsor one month of donuts for the "Donuts With Dudes" program. Donors' names will be posted on the school website and Facebook page. Please call Lincoln Elementary at 874-3700 if you are interested in donating.
