Lottie Evilyn Hawkins Jones died Feb. 22, 2018, in Montrose. She was 87.
She was born Jan. 31, 1931, to Roy and Ava (James) Morrris in Foss, Okla. She attended Cedaredge schools.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her sisters, friends and family.
On Jan. 31, 1949, she married Clarance Hawkins. He died in 1999 after 50 years of marriage. She married Guy Jones of Mitchell, Neb., in 2004. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Bud (Cindy) Hawkins of Delta and Jerry Hawkins of Cal-Nev-Ari, Nev.; a daughter, Deb (Gene) Lillard of Montrose; two sisters, Margaret McNeal of Eckert and Mildred Campbell of Paonia; five grandchildren, Ty Hawkins, Brandy Reimler, Nate Hawkins, Amber Lillard and Erin Blackwelder; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
