"I worked with Ann Murphy when we were both on the district board. I was on the district board when we hired Annette -- and I can't express how much I appreciate both of them and their work not only for Paonia but for all the district libraries. We were a great team," said Bell Campton.

Those attending the luncheon included former Paonia Mayor Neal Schwieterman, many former members of the Paonia Library Development Committee, and officers and board members of the Paonia Friends. Myrna Westerman, retired Paonia Library manager, voiced her appreciation to them as well as to both Annette and Ann for their tireless efforts in bringing the dream of a new Paonia Library to its Third Street location.
