The City of Delta Recreation Department is offering a special evening for dads, daughters, grandfathers and granddaughters. The annual Daddy-Daughter Dance is scheduled Saturday, Nov. 11, at Bill Heddles Recreation Center.
This year's theme is "Alice in Wonderland." Bring a special little girl for an evening of dancing, snacks and fun. It's an event she will remember forever. Photographs will be available for an additional cost.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dancing begins at 7. The fee is $15 in advance by Friday, Nov. 10, or $20 at the door ($5 for each additional girl). Please bring a snack to share.
This dance is primarily for girls ages 3-12, but older girls are welcome.
For more information or to register, call Bill Heddles Recreation Center at 874-0923.
On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
