The United Methodist Youth spent part of their Super Bowl Sunday gathering food and dollars for the Delta Food Pantry. These young superheroes delivered 30-plus bags and boxes of canned vegetables, meat and soups to help fill pantry shelves.

In January, the Delta Food Pantry served 436 different people enough food for 3,924 meals, and winter is not over.

The Delta Food Pantry, a member of the Food Bank of the Rockies, looks to the community to help it through the cold winter. Please donate your nonperishables through a church, service club or participating business, or bring your personal donation to the food pantry during service hours -- Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A financial contribution may be mailed to The Delta Food Pantry, 1140 Howard Street, Delta, CO 81416.
