Milton Klatt

Crawford resident Milton Klatt died Sept. 3, 2017, in Crawford. He was 62.

A memorial service was held Sept. 11 at Crawford Community United Methodist Church with Pastor James Gall officiating.

Mr. Klatt was born on Sept. 10, 1954, to Carl and Frona (Carville) Klatt in Uravan. He spent his childhood and attended schools in Colorado, Utah and Texas. He graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrolton, Texas, and attended college in Texas and Nevada.

On June 26, 1978, he married Melody Villone in Carson City, Nev. With this union, he gained a wife and a family.

Mr. Klatt served as town marshal for Sparks, Nev., for 24 years. He was proud to be a police officer and serve his community.

He enjoyed playing Texas Hold'em and cribbage. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and traveling with his wife in their RV and on cruises.

He is survived by his daughters, Angel Villone of Wintersville, Ohio, and Candy Nyholm of Crawford; grandchildren, Franceska Villone, Vincent Villone and Tyler (Justice) Nyholm of Crawford; great-grandchildren, Delaney Nyholm and Kamree Alward; sister, Susan (Randy) Aulbaugh of Irving, Texas; brother, Carl Klatt Jr. of Irving, Texas; and a niece.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford Community United Methodist Church.
