Delta resident Naola Turner died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta. She was 78.
Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 20, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Delta. Inurnment followed at Delta City Cemetery.
Naola Ruth Turner was born in Paonia May 3, 1937, to Elnora Hunt and Herbert Turner. She grew up and attended school in California.
In 1953 she married Kenneth Drenk.
She enjoyed quilting and attending Mass at St. Michael Catholic Church.
She is survived by her mother, Elnora Turner of Arizona; a son, Cory Drenk of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Lauri Taylor of Paradise, Calif., and Teresa Smith of Delta; three sisters, Jeanette Morris of Arizona, Pat Price of Porterville, Calif., and Betty Baker of Virginia; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother; and a son, Kenneth Drenk Jr.
