Natalie Barton

Natalie Barton of Cedaredge died May 7, 2016. She was 78.

She was born in Longmont Sept. 23, 1937, to George and Ila (Domenico) Marnich. She attended school in Frederick and Longmont.

She married Patrick Barton on June 25, 1955, in Loveland. They lived in Denver before moving to Boulder in 1957 where Mr. Barton attended the University of Colorado. After his graduation in 1962 they moved to Arvada. They moved to Cedaredge in 1996, after retirement.

Mrs. Barton managed a house cleaning business, owned and managed a boutique and was a professional seamstress. She sewed uniforms for the local high school band and was a wardrobe seamstress for Faye Dunaway and Bette Davis.

She is survived by her husband of 60-plus years, Patrick Barton; seven children, Kevin of Erie, Jennifer "Gigi" Strauch of Littleton, Tim of Arvada, Todd of Colorado Springs, Mitch of Westminster, Heidi Heier of Loveland and Heather Spiker of Coal Creek Canyon; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
