Paonia resident Nellie Harding died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at Paonia Care Center in Paonia. She was 82.
A funeral service was held Friday, Sept. 11, at Bible Center Church in Paonia. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia.
Mrs. Harding was born in Edmond, Okla., May 15, 1933, to Adam and Ida Ellen (Adcox) Sill. She spent her childhood in Brookfield, Mo., where she attended elementary school. The family moved to Colorado and she attended Lamborn Mesa School.
On Sept. 17, 1948, she married Perry Harding in Delta.
Mrs. Harding was a former member of Bible Center Church and Minnesota Creek Club. She enjoyed baking pies, gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Perry Harding; two daughters, Kathleen (Lawrence) Ungaro of Rangely and Debbie (Carl) Miller of Lazear; seven grandchildren, Leanne (Brian) Tobiasson, Laurie Claybaugh, April (Derrin) Noel, Lacey Miller, Chase Miller, Brandon Harding and Cody Miller; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harding was preceded in death by a son, Milton Harding; and two brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delta County Memorial Hospital Oncology Center, 1501 E. 3rd St., Delta, CO 81416.

At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, officers of the Delta Police Department were dispatched to a robbery reported at Arby's, located at 107 Gunnison River Drive. An extensive search of the area was conducted and the suspect was not located.
The suspect was reported to have walked into Arby's and after a brief conversation with an employee, was able to leave the store with a small amount of cash and coins.
