Following AppleFest last fall, the Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new staff assistants who will be managing the business office daily, Monday through Friday.
Mari-Emilie Sweigart and Tina Swoffer will be covering shifts in the office from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. Anyone with a question about chamber events or wanting information about upcoming events is welcome to stop in the office next to Town Hall on Main Street during business hours, or call 856-6961.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
