New rule for dispersed camping along Kebler

By Press Release

Because of the increasing popularity of the Gunnison National Forest, new rules have been put in place by the U.S. Forest Service to minimize the direct impacts on resources.

One is to limit travel of motor vehicles to only 30 feet from designated routes along the Kebler Pass corridor for the purpose of dispersed camping.

A seasonal closure is being proposed for the corridor in 2017.
