The Delta County Libraries offer many educational and entertaining activities and events for you and your family to enjoy. If you want to know what else your library is offering, please contact the library or visit the Delta County Libraries website at www.deltalibraries.org.

Senior CommUnity meals are served in Olathe on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and at four dining sites in Delta County — Cedaredge Community Center (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), Delta Community Center (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), Hotchkiss Senior Center (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and Paonia Senior Citizen Center (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

The November show at the Creamery Arts Center brings an array of new artwork featuring wood turner Ronald MacKendrick, photographer and clay artist Kyle Hewitt, and woodworker Ralph Sandmann.
An opening reception will be held Friday evening, Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The 2014 Gingerbread Festival returns to the Blue Sage Center for the Arts along with a full schedule of activities for families starting Friday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.  and Saturday, Dec. 6, from noon to 4 p.m.
Join Pour Farm Ceramics for pottery painting on Friday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. to paint a Snowflake Plate.

The Delta Library will collect travel-size toiletries, snack items such as jerky, sunflower seeds, trail mix, individual serving packets of iced tea mix, etc., between Monday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 6. No chocolate, please.
