Gladys E. Jourdan died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Mesa Manor. She was 90.

She was born in Caruthers, Calif., Oct. 17, 1923, to Joe and Lucy (Coelho) Telles. She graduated from Selma High School in Selma, Calif., in 1941.
She married Charlie Jourdan May 29, 1942.
Mrs. Jourdan was a waitress in Paonia and Hotchkiss for many years.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and family gatherings.
She is survived by her son, Tony (Evelyn) Coelho of Georgetown, Texas; her daughters, Jackie Walsh and Linda Hatcher, both of Grand Junction, Carolyn (Mike) Maley of Brighton and Elaine (Alan) Cole of Montrose; two grandsons; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe Telles, Lorena Telles, Vivian Lefler and Bob Telles; a son, Gary; a granddaughter, Loretta Walsh; a great-grandson, Kevin DeCrow II; and her husband, Charlie.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia.
