Lillian Glassford of Eckert died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. She was 103.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 26, at Cedaredge Cemetery.
Lillian Ellen Denton was born in Joplin, Mo., July 2, 1910, to William and Mora (Roten) Denton. She spent her childhood and attended school in Denver.
She married Adelbert Woodhams in 1934.
He died in May 1949 in Denver. On Nov. 10, 1952, she married William Baker in Las Vegas, Nev. She married Myrl Dorn on Sept. 1, 1975, in Austin.In May 1984 she married William Glassford in Maui, Hawaii. The marriage ended in divorce.
Mrs. Glassford was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling and reading books.
She is survived by her son, Adelbert “Woody” Woodhams of Lazear; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Billy, Ben, Cliff and Claude Denton; and three sisters, Annie, Elva and Sylvia.
