Clifford “Vic” Victor Clampitt died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at his home in Austin. He was 80.
Brian Edward Lauderbach died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his parents’ home in Cedaredge. He was 25.
Lifetime Hotchkiss resident Harold Lee Martin died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 89.
Larry Allen Bellmire was born in Cedaredge on Feb. 5, 1938, to Clarence and Lavonne (Wright) Bellmire. His mother died when he was very young and Clarence remarried Doris Cottier.
After graduating high school in 1956, he joined the Navy with childhood friends Jim Cinnamon and Jerry Pittsinger. These friendships lasted a lifetime.
At the rising of the morning sun, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, Dorothy (Clock) Conkle left her loved ones at her longtime home here in Paonia and joined her beloved husband, Al; all her five Clock brothers and sisters-in-law; and many more loved ones — all in the presence of her most beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, in her brand new home in Glory.
There she has begun her eternal joy where there is no more pain, sorrow and death — only blissful life with the Lord.
Jerry F. Murray died June 20, 2014, at his home in Cedaredge. He was 68.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Slaughenhaupt Murray of Cedaredge; two sons, Joddy Murray of Texas and Brad Murray of West Virginia; a daughter, Tammy Murray of Delta; two stepdaughters, Geneva Nall of Loveland and Regina Mathews of Hawaii; two stepsons, B.J. Nall of Commerce City and Jerry Prock of Oregon; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Travis Lee Gordon died June 21, 2014, at his home in Eckert. He was 37.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Gordon was born in Whitefish, Mont., March 18, 1977, to Joseph and Pamela (Geyer) Gordon. He spent his childhood in Colorado, Montana and Alaska. He attended school in Whitefish, Mont., and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1996. He completed training in union cement masonry at the Collbran Job Corps in 2000.
Lillian Glassford of Eckert died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Horizons Care Center in Eckert. She was 103.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 26, at Cedaredge Cemetery.
Lillian Ellen Denton was born in Joplin, Mo., July 2, 1910, to William and Mora (Roten) Denton. She spent her childhood and attended school in Denver.
She married Adelbert Woodhams in 1934.
