From the Delta Police Department:

Aug. 11:
At 11:49 p.m., a juvenile petition was filed on a 16-year-old male of Delta for alleged illegal possession of ethyl alcohol by an underage person.
Aug. 13:
At 12:34 a.m., Scott C. Holden, 44, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged unreasonable noise.
Aug. 14:
At 11:29 a.m.,  Jason J. Stick, 35, of Delta (transient) was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $1,500 bond.
At 10:18 p.m., a 15-year-old male of Delta was arrested on a warrant with a $500 bond. He was placed in a youth detention facility.
Aug. 15:
At 9:39 a.m., Joseph T. Morris, 57, of Delta (transient) was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.
Aug. 16:
At 12:35 p.m., Billy M. James, 90, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged failure to yield right of way after stopping at a stop sign after he was involved in a two-vehicle accident at 7th and Huff streets. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
At 1:44 p.m., Eric K.S. Henderson, 24, of Hotchkiss was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after he was involved in a two-vehicle accident near 12th and Main streets. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
At 8:15 p.m., a juvenile petition was filed on a 17-year-old male of Delta for alleged harassment.
Aug. 11:
At 7 a.m., Daneen Kirkwood, 51, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.
At 11:18 a.m., Richard L. Flores, 53, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged first degree assault.

The above incidents are not all inclusive as it relates to incidents occurring in the City of Delta.

From the Delta County Sheriff’s Office (partial list):
Aug. 11:
Shortly before 4 p.m., a three-car accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 92 and 3100 Road. No one was seriously injured. The Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation.
Aug. 12:
An assault allegedly occurred at about 2:30 a.m. when a 69-year-old landlord became involved in a pushing and shoving match with several tenants at a home he owned on Highway 65 in the Cory area. No serious injuries were reported. The matter remains under investigation.
Equipment on a construction site on H75 Road near the river was reportedly vandalized. BLM notified the owner, who then contacted the sheriff’s office.
At 8:30 p.m., Hotchkiss firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to a fire on Shamrock Road outside of Hotchkiss. The property owner reported he was burning a trench when a nearby pile of trash accidentally caught on fire. No summons was issued.
Aug. 14:
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported assault under the bridge near Paonia High School. A 58-year-old Paonia resident had lawfully purchased a six-pack of beer and was drinking it under the bridge when he encountered two males and a female he was able to partially identify. An altercation ensued and the 58-year-old was injured. He was transported to Delta County Memorial Hospital. All parties had been drinking heavily and no one could recall how or why the fight started. All declined to prosecute.
An 18-year-old Delta man was reported missing by his mother, who had not seen him for two weeks. He was located in Cedaredge and advised to contact his family.
Aug. 15:
Peter Gomez, 27, of Delta was involved in a single car accident at Highway 348 and 25 Mesa Road. His pickup ended up in a ditch; Gomez was not injured.
Aug. 17:
A Delta area woman reported a neighbor pulled a handgun on her after a dispute over water. Sheriff’s investigators discovered the “bulky, chunky” handgun was actually a corded power drill which was not used in a threatening manner. The two parties were advised to contact their attorneys to resolve their water concerns.

Aug. 4:
At 1:44 a.m., Geraldine F. Stevens, 72, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.
At 8:34 p.m., Kenna R. Mercer, 53, of Eckert was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after she was allegedly involved in a single vehicle crash in the 1300 block of North Highway 50. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was not towed.
Aug. 5:
At 9:18 a.m., Billy W. West, 73, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged limitations on backing and failure to provide evidence of insurance after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in the 100 block of E. 4th Street. No injuries were reported and neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
Aug. 4:
At 12:29 a.m., Daneen Kirkwood, 51, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.
At 12:50 p.m., Lawrence L. Durant Jr., 72, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $3,000 bond.
At 1:57 p.m., Steven D. Hoffman, 49, of Loma was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Main Street.  No injuries were reported and neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
Aug. 7:
At 2:34 p.m., Theanna L. Conklin, 59, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $300 bond.
Aug. 9:
At 2:55 a.m., Tylor M. Naranjo, 21, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged third degree assault, criminal mischief and obstruction of telephone service.
At 3:23 a.m., Roberto Seanz, 34, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged harassment.
At 9:34 p.m., Jeremy M. Kusov, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged aggravated motor vehicle theft, second degree assault, vehicular eluding resulting in bodily injury, expired plates, no protective eyewear while operating a motorcycle, operated motorcycle without endorsement, operated uninsured vehicle.
Aug. 10:
At 11:31 p.m., Ryan T. Guccini, 35, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged DUI, DUI per se and careless driving.

From the Delta County Sheriff’s Office (partial list):
Aug. 4:
At 3 a.m., sheriff’s deputies rendezvoused with a woman on Highway 65 who was reportedly the victim of domestic violence. She suffered injuries to her face and arms during the assault. Investigation was turned over to the Cedaredge Police Department because the incident took place within the town’s boundaries.
Aug. 5:
A complaint was filed about an injured horse that was not receiving treatment.
Aug. 6:
A neighborhood dispute that began with a verbal exchange ended when one of the parties picked up a softball-sized rock and threatened to strike the other party. Sheriff’s deputies advised the two parties to consult their attorneys to resolve the dispute.
A motorist traveling by town park in Crawford reported his vehicle was hit by a rock. The incident occurred around 10 p.m.
Aug. 7:
A Crawford area woman reported her mailbox was smashed and two others in the neighborhood were stolen. She believes it was a retaliatory gesture.
A man traveling on Highway 65 at about 9:30 a.m. reported a passenger threw rocks out the window as he was passing the vehicle. His windshield was chipped.
A Redlands Mesa resident reported fuel was stolen from fuel tanks on his property.
Aug. 8:
A Hotchkiss area property owner reported someone drove through his fence, destroying a gate and part of the fence.
Aug. 9:
Sheriff’s deputies assisted with a one-vehicle rollover acident on Highway 50 near the Delta-Mesa county line. Jaden Baker, 20, of Grand Junction was transported by ambulance to Delta County Memorial Hospital. The Colorado State Patrol handled the investigation.
