Dec. 8:
Brianna A. Bermudez, 28, of Delta was arrested and jailed on three warrants with a total bond of $4,000.
Steven C. Gilleland, 42, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged violation of a protection order.

From the Delta Police Department:

Dec. 3:
Sosha L. Trujillo, 33, of Grand Junction was issued a ticket for alleged shoplifting.
Dec. 4:
Phillip B. Stinnett, 64, of Cedaredge was issued a ticket for alleged turning movement signals required after being involved in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 92 at Meeker Street. One person was transported to DCMH for evaluation.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Dec. 5:
Deborah A. Russell, 59, of Montrose was issued a ticket for alleged careless driving after being involved in a two-vehicle accident at Highway 92 and Crawford Avenue. No injuries were reported.Neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
Robert C. Stevens, 43, of Delta was issued a ticket for alleged theft and harassment.
Breanna A. Chacon, 18, of Delta was arrested and jailed for alleged third degree assault.
Wendell C. Harmon, 39, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $500 bond.
A 17-year-old male of Olathe was issued a ticket for alleged failure to yield right of way after being involved in a two-vehicle accident at Highway 92 and Meeker Street. No injuries were reported. Neither vehicle was towed from the scene.
Kimberly N. Springer, 27, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with a $10,000 bond.
Dec. 6:
David J. Ortiz, 38, of Delta was arrested and jailed on a warrant with no bond.

From the Delta County Sheriff’s Office (partial list):
Dec. 3:
A Delta woman reported a suspicious incident involving her 15-year-old daughter. The girl had been contacted by a 36-year-old man claiming to be a model photographer for Elite Modeling Agency in New York City. After he expressed an interest in meeting the teen, law enforcement was contacted. Deputies determined the claims made by the would-be photographer were completely false.
A cow-car accident was reported at 29396 Highway 92 at approximately 6 p.m. No injuries occurred.
Dec. 5:
A 15-year-old Delta male was arrested on a warrant for vehicle theft while housed at the Sweetwater County Detention Center in Wyoming.
Deputies responded to the technical college campus on a report of two female minors smoking marijuana. Both are students of the Delta Opportunity School. They were issued summons to county court.
Dec. 6:
A property owner on Fairlamb Road spotted an individual in camouflage on his property. When he approached the man, the man ran away. Deputies later contacted two males, ages 21 and 22, who said they had no idea they were on private property. They were given a verbal warning.
Dec. 7:
A Paonia resident reported the theft of items from a vehicle parked on Minnesota Creek Road. Investigation revealed a male suspect driving a blue pickup stopped, broke out the passenger window of a Subaru with a rock and stole the victim’s purse and $21 before later discarding the purse. The case is under investigation.
