The City of Delta will have two questions on the November ballot. The first would remove TABOR restrictions on select revenue sources.

The second would extend the recreation center tax while also expanding its use to a combined parks, golf and recreation department. Neither question would result in any new tax.
To answer questions about the ballot proposals, the City of Delta is hosting two informational sessions — Thursday, Aug. 14, and Tuesday, Aug. 26. Both begin at 5:30 p.m. at Bill Heddles Recreation Center. The ballot questions will be formally considered by Delta City Council Aug. 19 and Sept. 2. More information is available at
