Helen Barton was named to the Cedaredge Cemetery Board. Richard Moore was named to the Crawford Cemetery Board. And, Terry Taylor was named to the Hotchkiss Cemetery Board. Appointments to cemetery boards are for six-year terms. The Cory Cemetery board is vacant once again. County commissioner Bruce Hovde has taken on administrative duties for the cemetery for a second time until volunteers can be found to serve. The Board of County Commissioners will make appointments to other boards in coming weeks. An example is the county Planning Commission. The BoCC conducted two interviews with individuals wanting to serve representing the Delta and Paonia areas. Announcements to those positions will be forthcoming. Also, Karen Probert was approved for another five-year term as a citizen member for the county Board of Health.
