Cedaredge firefighters gather around a car which wound up in the yard of a home at 11976 Highway 65 in Eckert last Thursday afternoon. No details were available from the Colorado State Patrol as of press time Tuesday. The sheriff’s office reports the car ended up wedged into the fence. The unidentified driver had reportedly been to the eye doctor and was heading north on Highway 65 when he lost control of his car.
