Bank of Colorado announces the promotion of Nicole Walters to branch president of the Hotchkiss and Paonia branches.
Walters joined Bank of Colorado in March 2015 as branch manager and brings over 17 years of bank management skills and leadership experience to the team. Her responsibilities include managing the operation of the Hotchkiss and Paonia branches, developing new and maintaining current customers and providing them with financial products including loans, deposit products and services for the North Fork Valley. She is also an experienced lender with the ability to service customers with all their commercial, real estate, business, agricultural and consumer lending needs.
"Nicole brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position and we are glad she is part of the Bank of Colorado management team," said Brad Kreikemeier, executive vice president of Bank of Colorado.

Calling all volunteers! Fort Uncompahgre on the Old Spanish Trail has received six new tipis that will be used as outdoor classrooms in conjunction with the Nature Connection. John Hardy has volunteered to lead a group of folks who are willing to learn how to set up the tipis and pitch in where necessary.
