A memorial service was held Jan. 27 at Delta United Methodist Church with Reverend Roy Trueblood officiating. Inurnment followed at Delta City Cemetery.

Mr. Calhoun was born May 5, 1954, in Delta, to George and Joy "June" (Taylor) Calhoun. He graduated from Delta High School and attended Mesa College in Grand Junction.

He married Stacy Robinson. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father, George Calhoun.

Mr. Calhoun was a plumber and enjoyed golfing, ranching and bird hunting. He was a Methodist. He was a resident of Grand Junction for the past 30 years.

He is survived by his mother, June Calhoun of Delta; a daughter, Alexis Calhoun of Grand Junction; a sister, Alexis Merlino and her husband Chuck of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a nephew, Tony Merlino and his wife Leslie, and their children, Caleb and Kirea, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
