Fact: Having a mammogram can show small malignant masses and micro-calcifications that can't be felt.

Myth: If you don't have a family history of breast cancer, you don't need to have a mammogram.

Fact: 8 out of 10 breast cancers occur in women who don't have a family history of invasive breast cancer.
