Earlier I was working on this week's column and after I heard the State of the Union address and then I read an article regarding a vote that will probably take place in the US Senate this week, my heart and mind forced me to stop the article I was working on and revisit an issue I have written about before.  This week the Senate will probably vote to raise the debt ceiling.

Have you read the United States Declaration Of Independence?  If not, why not?  It is about 1,300 words long, only takes a few minutes to read, and gives us the reasons we have our great country.  Reading the Declaration of Independence gives us an understanding of what the Founding Fathers were for and against as they wrote our United States Constitution, the foundation of all of our laws.

Nick Streza is a regular guy who believes that common sense and truth provide resolutions to many of the confusing issues of our time.  His life represents service to his political beliefs, religious beliefs and local public school systems.  The commitment Nick has for his passions allows him to provided that common sense voice lacking by many who attempt to address some of the issues of our time.
