The rusty old cars on Main Street have proven to be a hot topic. Some folks love them, others say they do nothing to enhance the image of the city. To owner Orval Proctor, the cars and trucks are an important part of automotive history.
Now they've been highlighted on a YouTube series called "Rodder's Files," which features "beautiful rides from all corners of the globe."
Proctor said he wasn't aware of the YouTube video until he got a call from Florida last week.
"I was told that this guy travels around looking for places like mine and posts them on YouTube," Proctor said. "He did a very professional job of filming my lot."
The 14-minute video begins on the east side of Main, where Kenny Miller, the "Rodder," walks down the row of Chryslers, Plymouths, Oldsmobiles and "I don't know what that is. Anybody know what that is?"
He then crosses the street where there's more paint and less rust on the classic vehicles offered for sale. "Gotta love it!" he comments.
The video can be found under Rodder's Files on the Road. Just search for "Orval's Used Classic Cars."
The video was posted to YouTube on Aug. 13.
