Delta's Panthers tennis team has played twice in March.

The first contest was against Glenwood Springs in Delta, on March 5. The Demons won the match 4-3.

Delta fell, 6-1, to Grand Junction Central on March 8 in Grand Junction.

GS 4, Delta 3

Delta won three of seven matches against Glenwood Springs on March 8.

Wins for the Panthers included victories in 1D, 3D and 4D competition.

Delta defeated Glenwood Springs in 1D action, 7-6(7-5) and 6-2. The 3D team swung past the Demons, 6-4 and 6-2, in 3D play. Delta won at 4D with scores of 7-6(7-0) and 6-1.

Central 6, Delta 1

Delta's 4D team had to use three sets to get past Central 1-6, 6-4 and 0-0(10-7).

Delta's tennis season continues on March 25-26 with the playing of the Delta Tennis Tournament scheduled to be played at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction.
