Delta's Panthers were stumped by Montrose in an 11-9 loss in baseball action on March 22. The Indians stole the game with a six-run explosion in the sixth inning to take a 10-8 lead.
The Panthers adjusted their baseball schedule last week after Steamboat Springs was unable to play a scheduled game in Steamboat on March 25. Instead, the Panthers hosted a doubleheader in Delta to take care of a home-and-home game between the two teams for the season. Delta swept the twinbill with wins of 19-1 and 18-5.

The Indians found an offense which produced six big runs in the top of the fourth and took a 10-8 lead to the fifth.

Damon Jensen also had a three-hit day, which produced three RBIs, including a double and a triple. Ty McCurdy scored twice, had a double and a home run on his way to a two-RBI day.
Keller and Jaspar Carmichael contributed two RBIs each in the win for Delta.
Drake Horn picked up the win.
Delta 18, Sailors 5
Tristan Brown led a trio of Panthers who pounded out three hits in Delta's second-game win.
Brown was 3-5, scored three times and knocked in three runs on a double, triple and home run. Jensen's two hits produced three RBIs, including a triple and a home run, and he scored two times himself. Keller stayed hot with three hits and three RBIs, including two doubles. Keller also scored three runs himself.
Blake Reiher was the winning pitcher.
The Panthers will travel to Montrose for diamond action on March 31 at 5 p.m. and have a doubleheader scheduled with Battle Mountain on April 2 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
