Panthers' race past Central in soccer, 7-0

Delta High School's soccer team upped its season record to 2-1 after recording a 7-0 win over Central last week.

The Panthers had seven players score goals including Luis Munoz, Marcos Edmondson, Martin Corral, Danny Mendoza, Luis Meraz, Isaac Fuller and Pedro Montes.

Dishing out assists were Joseph Holiman, Corral, Brendon Klaseen, Mendoza and Luka Htoo.

Holiman was in the net and recorded the shutout win with three saves.

The Panthers hosted Palisade on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and are scheduled to host Roaring Fork on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. on the Cottonwood Complex in North Delta.
