Patsy Lovato died July 23, 2016, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. She was 74.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta with Pastor James Conley officiating.

Patsy L. Catt was born in Delta Aug. 8, 1941, to Omar and Opal (Henderson) Catt. She spent her childhood in Pampa, Texas. When she was 16, her family returned to Colorado. She attended Olathe High School and Delta-Montrose Technical College.

In September 1991, she married Emilio Lavato in Montrose. They moved to Delta in 1993. They shared 25 years of marriage.

Patsy attended First Baptist Church in Delta. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, dancing and playing card games with her family.

Mrs. Lovato is survived by her husband, Emilio Lovato of Delta; a daughter, Eldonna "Ellie" Anders of Cory; three stepchildren, Tom Lovato of Montrose, Chris Lovato of Columbia, Mo., and Samantha Lovato of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Rex Catt of California; a sister, Doris Markley of Florence; and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Vaughn Anders; one sister, June Roberts; and six brothers, Jack, Craig, Gerald, Buck, Red and Max.
