Phillip Siebler Jr. died Aug. 16, 2015, at his son's home in Crawford. He was 80.
A memorial service was held Aug. 20 at his son's home. Another will be held at a later date.
Mr. Siebler was born May 31, 1935, to Phillip H. "PH" Siebler and Edna Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Siebler of Bozeman, Mont.; two sisters, Stella Rickman and Evelyn Siebler, both of Tracy, Calif.; one daughter, Patty Linman of Hotchkiss; three sons, David Siebler and Michael Siebler, both of Crawford, and Phillip Siebler III of Grand Junction; a cousin, Bill Siebler of Torrance, Calif.; a special friend, Crystal from the bait shop in Shoshoni, Wyo.; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Betty Jean Siebler; a son, Gilbert Siebler; a daughter, Phyllis Atwood; two brothers, Jerome Siebler and Billy Siebler; and a sister, Marlene Snow.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
