Phyllis I. Knorr died July 3, 2016, at Delta County Memorial Hospital in Delta. She was 85.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, with James Gall officiating.
Phyllis Isabelle Brust was born Dece. 21, 1930, at South Bend, Ind., to Karl Dean and Bess Mae (Day) Brust. She spent her childhood in Winamac, Ind., graduating from Star City High School.
Phyllis and Robert M. King were married on Feb. 28, 1948, at Star City, Ind. They celebrated 43 years of marriage before Robert's death on Feb. 23, 1991.
She later married Richard Knorr in Craig.
Phyllis lived in South Bend and the Winamac area of Indiana until 1953 when she moved to Walkerton, Ind. In 1975 she moved to Craig, then to Hotchkiss in 1989 and later to Delta.
Phyllis worked as a teacher's aide for several years. She enjoyed music, the arts and barbershop harmony. She was a member of Sweet Adelines and a former member of the Hotchkiss chapter of OES #81. Phyllis also enjoyed reading, walking, travel and being a member of the birthday girls.
She is survived by her sons, George King of Minnesota, Alan King of Delta, Scott King of North Liberty, Ind.; her brother, Chuck Brust of Winamac, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert King, and her sister, Carol Day.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
