On Saturday, Sept. 9, photographers will have 12 hours to take a photo, indoors or outdoors, within a one-mile radius of the Blue Sage, that captures the essence of Paonia. They then have until 7 p.m. to get their photographs certified.
Participants have 10 days to submit three of their best gallery-ready photos for judging. Early registration is $15 for the first photo, and $10 for each additional photo, with a deadline of Friday, Sept. 2. Same-day registration is $25/$15. Kids 17 and younger can enter the youth division for a $10 fee, plus $5 for each additional photo.
Details are available at BlueSage.org, by calling 527-7243, or at the Blue Sage between noon-5 p.m. Monday, and Thursday-Saturday.
