The Plant & Dig Club of Cedaredge held its meeting on March 18. Only one of our 16 members was unable to attend. We are growing and that is a very good thing.

The program for this meeting was "Birds." Many of the members had done research on the bird they chose to discuss. So we learned as well as had fun listening to imitations of bird calls (Judi Mac and her crow calls, Lisa J. giving a perfect peacock call) and hearing many interesting and hilarious stories about individual experiences.

Our members are excited about our April meeting when we travel to the City of Delta Parks Department to meet with the talented and dedicated crew that creates, plants and maintains the beautiful flower pots along Main Street, the median beds that beautify Hwy. 50 and the many garden areas throughout Delta.

We invite all who are interested in gardening, friendship and community service to join our club. For further information you may call 856-3897 or 970-901-9360.
