Resolve to get free music this year

By Don Benjamin

Here's a New Year's resolution that's easy to keep. If you have a Delta County Library card, your 2018 music world just got rocked! To stream and download music for free all you need is your library card number and internet access. To access the Freegal Music website (that's "freegal" as in "frugal") go to and log in with your library card number.

Delta County Library patrons get five free downloads and three hours of streaming time per week. Streaming time and downloads expire if not used but you get a new set each week. You can create playlists and save them on your personalized page. And if you have provided your email address to the library to receive due notices, you'll get a weekly update from Freegal reminding you to use your free downloads.

Music choices run the gamut from classical to heavy rock and country to pop (think: Beethoven to Nine Inch Nails and Vince Gill to Pink and everything in between.) So make a resolution to take advantage of this great service offered by your Delta County Library and check that one off your list.
