Robert Warren "Bob" Arnold died June 17, 2017, in Lexington, Okla. He was 73.
Funeral services will be held in Oklahoma June 21 under the direction of Wadley's Funeral Chapel.
Local visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the General Assembly and Church of the First Born in Delta. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Pea Green Cemetery in Delta, under the direction of Taylor Funeral Service.
Mr. Arnold was born March 11, 1944, in Oakland, Calif., to Lee and Florence (Castoe) Arnold. He was raised and attended school in California; he also furthered his education by taking night classes. He worked for many years as a mechanic as well as a truck driver.
On Feb. 13, 1960, he was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. On June 16, 1961, he married Patty Byers in Delta.
He enjoyed collecting antique cars and trucks, woodworking, fishing, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with family.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patty; sons, Gary (Angie) Arnold and Terry Arnold, all of Lexington, Okla.; daughter, Sherry (Eric) Treagesser; grandchildren, Anne Treagesser, Immersun Zoski and Emma Treagesser; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lester Arnold; sisters, Sandra Arnold and Shirley Patrick; and grandchildren, Canaan Arnold and Nate Treagesser.
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory is handling the local arrangements.
