Crawford resident Robert C. Croft died Sunday, Oct. 9, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 95.
Mr. Croft was born in Norman Township, Ill., May 24, 1921, to Frank and Helma (Nelson) Croft.
He was married to Margaret Davis of Casper, Wyo., for 63 years.
He enjoyed aviation and fishing.
He is survived by his companion, Joyce Lyon of Hotchkiss; two sons, Stanton Croft of Mimbres, N.M., and Steven Croft of Longmont; two daughters, Sharon Conway of Moscow, Pa., and Shirley Ain of Eagle; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers, Bill and Herb Croft.

On Dec. 4 Delta County Commissioners Doug Atchley, Mark Roeber and Don Suppes denied the application of Paonia Holdings, LLC for a change of land use for the property at 41322 Highway 133, with an adjacent residence at 41402 Highway 133 and an ancillary property at 16180 Stevens Gulch Road.
The property is owned by Bowie Resources, LLC, and was formerly used as a coal load-out site.
