Montrose County resident Robert C. Kramer died March 31, 2017, at his home. He was 80.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta with Father Albeiro Herrera-Ciro officiating. Inurnment will follow at Delta City Cemetery.
Mr. Kramer was born Aug. 29, 1936, to John and Anna (Diehl) Kramer in the same home in which he died. He graduated from Olathe High School.
Mr. Kramer was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Olathe Co-op and Olathe Potato Growers. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, ice fishing, hunting and, most of all, gardening.
He is survived by his sons, Jim (Laurie) Ventrello of Delta and Mark Ventrello of Denver; a sister, Betty Ensley of Delta; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Kramer; a brother, John Kramer Jr.; and a sister, Ann DeGuelle.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Delta County Board of Commissioners called a special meeting to consider the board's response to the Bureau of Land Management's preliminary Environmental Assessment (EA) concerning the lease parcels proposed for the December BLM sale.
Several people from the North Fork were present to provide input.
